MIND NODE PRO TRIAL
I hadn’t tried the new version of XMind before, so I downloaded the trial version to get to know it. Over the years I’ve used most of the major apps, including MindManager, MindMeister, XMind, iThoughts, and MindNode. Using mind maps on the iPad is a more tactile experience, and works well, though adding thoughts can be slower. On the Mac, I like to get my ideas down quickly using the keyboard and use the mouse to move ideas around and create some structure.

Now I use mind mapping software on both my Mac and iPad. I also found mind mapping on paper to be a quick way to get started on a new article or project. I started with the open-source app FreeMind, one of the only apps available at the time. The new outline features on MindNode for Mac are part of the Plus subscription that runs $2.49/month or $19.99/year. This highly requested feature from MindNode users will be very welcome and will also be coming to iPad and iPhone in the future. The outline view has also received a design update.įor outlining, you can now add, remove, indent, and outdent nodes directly as well as dragging and dropping to reorganize in the hierarchical view. MindNode version 2021.1 for Mac brings side by side outlining and mind mapping for a more versatile experience. The new capabilities make it easy add, edit, and remove nodes right from the hierarchical view.
MIND NODE PRO UPDATE
MindNode is one of the most popular Mac/iOS apps for visual brainstorming and mind mapping and the Mac version has received nice update today with new outline features.
